ESB National Cup 2024

ESB National Cup 2024 is back and feature game titles such as Counter Strike 2, eFootball, PUBG MOBILE and Mobile Legends Bang Bang (Open and Female).

ESB National Cup 2024 is sponsored by YOUC1000, the official isotonic drink sponsor for our national athletes.

The competition period for each game title is as follows:
eFootball – 2 to 3 March 2024
Counter Strike 2 – 9 to 10 March 2024
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women – 16 March 2024
Mobile Legends Bang Bang Open – 18 to 20 March 2024
PUBG MOBILE – 1 to 4 April 2024

A total of 220 athletes have signed up (5 individuals & 68 teams) across 5 categories for the competition

MrTanakaV2 emerged victorious in the eFootball category and is his 2nd time wining the ESB National Cup!

Participating athletes includes MrTanakaV2, Colderman007, Fathul Faiz, WVX-888, P05ITIVE and Bazil.

Goodfellas Gaming is the champion of the Counter Strike 2 category featuring veteran players sSanzo, Rdmn, huahu and TriggerHxppy. They managed to dominate the national qualifiers without dropping a single set.

Final Rankings:
1st – Goodfellas Gaming
2nd – BOTS
3rd – MCT / Stryve Gaming

Participating teams are Goodfellas Gaming, Stryve Gaming, VLB, BOTS and Muamu Cam Thanos.

The winner for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Female category goes to RV Ladies after defeating Gadis Melayu and EVX Zenith Sirens in a round robin format. They finished the tournament with 2 wins and 0 losses and topped the table with 6 points.

Final Rankings:
1st – RV Ladies
2nd – Gadis Melayu
3rd – EVX Zenith Sirens

Next up is the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Open category where our development team, ESB NextGen managed to secure victory after defeating Acoustic Impact in the finals with a score of 2-0

ESB NextGen is the development team for this year’s SUKMA in Kuching, Malaysia.

3rd – Alpha Q

Participating teams in Mobile Legends Bang Bang Open are RV Vikings, Alpha Escobar, Alpha Q, Sorano, Pahlawan Gaming Team, The Real, Eros X, Acoustic Impact, Royalcrow, Dauntless Esport, Kalahkaluk Esports, Team Zinc, GT Esport, Redstarz, Aurora Axis and ESB NextGen

Lastly in the PUBG MOBILE category, The Prime X managed to dethrone the previous winner Goodfellas Gaming and claim the title for this year’s ESB National Cup. They managed to collect 58 points and 2 Winner Winner Chicken Dinners over Goodfellas Gaming who only manage to collect 50 points and also 2 Winner Winner Chicken Dinners.

ATS 5 Fingers settles for 3rd place with the same points as Goodfellas Gaming with 50 points but no Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
